Why Personal Training is our specialty...

For today’s blog I wanted to touch base on why personal training is our specialty and why after over 8 years in business we have decided to make this our main focus. Before we dive into why I believe this is the best format in fitness for results I just want to say that as long as people are finding movement and staying consistent with it, that is the main thing. There are a lot of great gyms in Denver and around the country that provide a wide range of services. The energy in a class setting or box gym is very inspiring but if you want your workouts customized, tracked, and a good support system to keep you accountable then personal training is the way to go. Below I’ll dive into few reasons as to why we decided to make this our main focus and why i believe it’s a game changer.

First of all when it comes to fitness everyones abilities and limitations are different along with their goals and objectives for what they want to obtain. There are generalizations to working out but when it comes to customizing workouts there’s no substitute for personal training. With personal training we start out in an initial consultation where the trainer can help you go over your goals along with your activities outside of the gym. When it comes to planning out your fitness goals it should align with the things we do in life in order to make our activities more enjoyable. In a class setting its hard to pinpoint these goals individually to everyone and often times things can be overlooked when it comes to programming.

Next with personal training we take into account your past injuries and other limitations to ensure we are keeping the client safe and targeting the areas we need to. As we age if you haven’t picked up an injury or two along the way then well you’re lucky but when it comes to programming specifically for a client its important we take this into account. This will help not only ensure we don’t repeat the injury but strengthen the area as well for long term success. This is why the initial consultation is so important so that the trainer can account for and program accordingly which is something you don’t often see in a larger setting.

Lastly when it comes to personal training I think the main thing that takes it home is the accountability you receive. When you meet with your trainer initially you discuss training frequency and typically have set dates/times to keep you consistent. Scheduling an appointment as opposed to just doing it when you can will keep you consistent and in turn get you results. Also in a one on one setting you can touch base on more areas such as your nutrition, sleep, recovery, and other important areas when it comes to health and fitness. If you’re interested in or ever thought about personal training then come in for a Free Consultation and see how working with a trainer can be life changing. Whether you’re in the Denver area for in-person at our personal training studio or outside for online training, we got you covered!
