"In the Fall of 2016, I had finally had enough of feeling sluggish and weak. I hadn't worked out consistently for at least 10 years, so I was looking for a personal trainer who could train me without burning me out.
I started working out with Nick two times a week. I liked his philosophy of consistency and his holistic approach to fitness. He worked me out hard but I never felt as if I was in over my head. As I steadily got stronger, his workouts were tailored to my new fitness level.
I continued with the personal training sessions twice a week for over a year. As I got into the routine of working out and reached a level of maintenance training, I shifted my workouts to his classes. I love the professionalism of each instructor as well as the energy of the classes. I always feel like the 40 minute class ends within 15 minutes! But they are intense and I feel as fit and strong taking 3 to 4 classes a week as I did with the personal training sessions with Nick.
My favorite part of Fight Gravity Fitness though is that I feel like Nick, Alex, Stephanie, Wayne and all my "classmates" are part of my family. If I've taken a break from the gym for a few days, I really do miss my friends at Fight Gravity."
So, I've increased my strength and fitness, lost a few pounds too, and made friends since I've joined Fight Gravity (oh, and met my boyfriend as well...thanks Nick!!). These past 18 months have been an amazing adventure and I'm so happy to be a part of the team with Fight Gravity!
