Its that time of year when the leaves start to fall and the summertime sadness kicks in.  As the weather begins to turn colder we often find our activity levels slow down and the body begins to crave food to sustain it through the colder months.  Here are some tips to help you kick start your fall and set you up for success through the holiday season:

  • Stay active in yard work
  • Use the crockpot to cook proteins for leftovers
  • Focus on portion control
  • Instill the gym habit before the season
  • Plan ahead your home cooked meals
  • Make sure you have workout ideas ready for snow days
  • Plan some active winter hobbies
  • Set a limit to eating out and use it as a reward
  • Limit alcohol intake
