Isaiah Gonsalves-Boxing/Circuits/TRX

Isaiah has been surrounded by martial arts his whole life. With his father being a black belt in karate and his older brother well on his way to becoming a master in Tae Kwon Do. As an adult he trained seriously focusing primarily on Muay Thai. He later quit his desk job and traveled some time in Thailand realizing he wanted to do something rewarding with his life, and what better than to pass the knowledge that he learned for his beloved sport? In the past couple of years he has indulged in kickboxing, yoga, calisthenics, and dance, exploring how they are all connected and how amazing the body’s capabilities are. That’s what he tries to teach in his classes. A balance of technique, cardio, body weight, movement, and of course fun.

Taylor Akin-Yoga Classes

Taylor began her yoga journey right when she moved to Colorado from Ohio about 2 years ago. She was practicing from time to time back in Ohio but then made it into a lifestyle. She fell in love with the fact that you can work on and build mind, body and spirit all at once. Exposure to nature and the mountains makes you want to begin living a more healthy and active lifestyle, this helped inspire her to eventually teaching yoga. “Teaching  yoga has given me an opportunity to find a creative side with formulating sequences and encorperating more challenging postures into my classes.” -Taylor She has taught yoga for about a year now starting with kids from the age of 5 to 17 years old and now moved in a different direction to teach adults. Taylor did her teacher 200 hour power training at Corepower yoga and also did an continuing education called Extentions through Corepower yoga which was 50 hours.

Michael Hopke-Yoga Classes

Michael began practicing yoga to support his running routine with its physical benefits, but over time he began to notice that yoga was helping far more than his physical body - opening both his heart and mind. Wanting to help others find these shifts, he dove into Yoga Pod Westminster’s first 200hr training, earning his certificate in December 2018 and continued his studies by earning his 60hr Yin certification in March of 2019. Drawn towards the lunar side of yoga, Michael's classes give students a chance to "hit the pause button" on life and reconnect with their breath, body, and mind. He strives to help students feel more emotionally and energetically aligned, allowing them to show up authentically in their lives off the mat.
